We are excited to announce Safe Families Sunday on February 16, 2025. This designated Sunday is a time to come together to draw attention to God’s heart for the vulnerable children and families and to invite congregations to highlight ways they are living the gospel and loving their neighbor in their local communities.
If this date does not work for your calendar, please choose a date in 2025 that best suits your church. The goal is to empower congregations to embrace a holistic approach to family preservation by prevention, connection, and strengthening efforts to keep children safe and families together!

Why I Started Safe Families
“This was the calling the Lord put on my life. This was my vision for Safe Families. Now twenty years later, my heart is still stirred by unleashing the family to practice radical hospitality to support parents facing significant life stressors.
My wife Karen and I have personally hosted over 100 children over the years and firmly believe we are all called upon to open our hearts and homes to keep children safe and families together. There is a role for everyone!”
