This weekend I caught my 3 and 4 year old playing “Safe Families” with their stuffed animals. They told me they were taking care of their animals and loving them until their mommies could take care of them again. When we stepped out in faith as a host family, we knew it would bless others in crisis, but worried about how it would affect our littles. Turns out, they’re learning to love like Jesus.
Safe Families has changed OUR family and the focus of who we are. We aren’t perfect parents for sure, but when moments like these happen, we know we’re doing the right thing. AND we’re passionate about motivating young families to be part of Safe Families. Just because we have littles doesn’t exclude us from being radical about Jesus.
