“My husband and I were privileged to care for a precious three-year-old girl through Safe Families while her mother sought housing. What may have been a two- or three-month stay with us turned out to be only nine days. But those nine days were such a joy for us! I had been praying that the Lord would use us in some way, and that we would do something for him that took us out of our ‘comfort zone’.
He blessed us immeasurably with the opportunity to help someone in need in a ‘dark hour’ of the mother’s life. We gave our heart and soul during that short time and we were richly rewarded! Safe Families provides a much needed service and a wonderful opportunity for those who are called.”
